Great Spotting Scopes Polaris DS-114 Telescope Troubleshoot?

Polaris DS-114 Telescope Troubleshoot? - great spotting scopes

Hello, I encounter some problems with a model of Meade DS-114 Polaris all-star with order-tracking system.
I bought this telescope and use it throughout the day, he could well observe distant objects clearly. Since then he has been in the night and could not see anything through the eye - even when I sighted in perfectly with the spotting scope.
I am new to telescopes and wonder whether it has something to do with the fact that I no battery tax system.

I do not want to use the automated system at the moment, but rather try to see a few stars and the moon outside. If anyone has an idea why I can no longer distinguish objects in the night, please help me.

Thank you forYour time.

First, what follows is to night vision devices and normal if you wear glasses to see who will be able to star in the sky without a telescope.

When you see the view with the spotting scope during the day to work, night, too.

1) Make sure you do not cover or pipe caps. You should be able to look at the open end of the scale of the mirror and look at the other end.
2) Remove the lens holder so you can see on the screen and you will see the secondary mirror (the small, just under the eye.
3) number of the telescope in the light of the porch or street light with your guide scope (a small telescope in the vicinity of the lens mounted)
4) Once you have a light guide focuses on the SCOeh, in the eye hole. You should be able to see the light. It will be just a gleam in the eye hole. If you can not see, looking through the hole in the eye and slowly move the telescope until you see the light. Your guide to small telescope can be wrong and need to be adjusted.
5) Use your eyes, the smaller capacity (the largest by the number in it), for example 23 mm and keep the light, looked through it can be ensured that the light actually pass through the hole. If you do not see through the eye itself, may have been moved or deleted, and possibly one of the glass out of alignment. Try a different light.
6) Place the eye in the eyepiece holder and see if you can see the light ThrouGH him. If so, the focus eyepiece so you can see the porch or street light in your telescope, oriented. If you are from 1 to 5, should be able to see light in the middle of the road.
1.6 If they can do and see the lantern, you should be able to see the stars.

Try to aim his telescope on Jupiter (the bright star in the south in the evening shortly after dark use. It reached the center of the planet into a broader framework. With low-power eyepiece, the focus of the Jupiter. If you are not look through the eyepiece, the scope of this guide may not be aligned correctly. Move the telescope slowly in small circles until Jupiter is your goal, then concentrate on Jupiter. Once done, the center of Jupiter in the middle of the sensationFace and into the higher eyepiece (next if more than one). If Jupiter is visible immediately try in the middle of the eye, the center of the picture, then with an eye on you. If you use a Barlow lens, which doubles or triples have the "power of your telescope, do not use until you tried all the eyes.

I hope something works for you.

Good luck.
